Pence violates congressional rules after declaring to the world he cannot violate congressional rules
Immediately before Vice President Mike Pence presided over the certification of the fraudulent 2020 presidential election, he sent out a statement declaring that he could not unilaterally overturn the election.
No one was asking Pence to unilaterally reject electors, however. People were asking him to either send the process back to the original constitutional authority—the state legislatures—or to adjourn and allow for those legislatures to continue to investigate the fraud.
