Biden says that he ‘got to the Senate 180 years ago’
In a video conference with the U.S. Conference of Mayors, presidential nominee Joe Biden read, “By the time I got to the Senate 180 years ago…” off of his teleprompter. He realized it was exaggeration after he said it and laughed, but either it was a typo or a awkward joke considering his age.

“That’s why I’ve made it a priority my entire career to work closely with you,” he said with a smile, “from the time I got to the Senate 180 years ago,” he added, giving a short chuckle.
