Abbott praised for giving back freedoms he had no authority to take

Freedom-loving people have praised Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s decision to end the statewide mask mandate Tuesday and open at 100 percent capacity, two restrictions he had no authority to make in the first place.

In a speech to the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, Abbott declared that “state mandates are no longer needed” following relatively promising COVID-19 numbers over the last few days.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still recommends that people still wear masks to help slow the spread as vaccines roll out. President Joe Biden also urged Americans to wear masks for the first 100 days of his presidency.

There are no data that support these regulations as public health measures.

States with no mask mandates or business restrictions fared the same or better than states with the regulations.

Countries with strict lockdown measures also didn’t fare better than countries with lax regulations:

The disease is real. The solutions pushed by health establishment are a fraud.

Either way, the regulations aren’t the government’s to make.
