Australian health authority recommends not talking to people or being friendly to fight COVID

It’s getting harder to imagine these people are serious. In Sydney, Australia, health authorities are telling people to fight their human nature to talk to acquaintances or to be friendly. “Now is not the time.” Because there’s a bad cold going around.

“Whilst is in human nature to engage in conversation with others; to be friendly. Unfortunately, this is not the time.”

The subtext is:

Don’t be human. Don’t talk to others. Only listen to the approved messages coming from your state news agencies and state-controlled social media.

I’m sure if you wanted to burn down a store with your closest BLM activists, that would be okay though.
