Fully-vaccinated man dies from COVID. Doctor says it would’ve been worse if he wasn’t vaccinated

A woman’s fully vaccinated father, Patricio Elizondo, died from COVID-19 and the first thing she thinks is she “can’t imagine how much more he would have suffered if he had not gotten the vaccine.”
When Rodriguez saw an X-ray of her father’s chest it was explained that he contracted COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated and being cautious.
Elizondo mostly stayed indoors and wore his mask, Rodriguez said, not knowing where he got the virus that ultimately messed up his lungs.
Initially, she thought her father was experiencing a flare-up of congestive heart failure or a recurring infection. But no, it was COVID and he ended up DYING from it and probably not like the guy who jumped out a place without a parachute died from COVID, but you know, actually died from COVID.
Instead of wondering why the vaccine didn’t save him, she was grateful he got it so that he didn’t suffer more.
