Canada province bans public gatherings to prevent ‘unauthorized information’

Canada is in full Orwell mode. Nova Scotia passed an injunction banning public gatherings, primarily aimed at two anti-mask protests, but its reach extended to other gatherings and events and also banned their promotion on social media.
Here is some bumbling idiot explaining it:

The Supreme Court later lifted the injunction, but the fact that it passed at all is a sign of how totalitarian the country has become.
