Scientists give newly-discovered ant non-binary name even though it’s binary

The Independent bravely reported that “A newly discovered species of ant from Ecuador has been given a scientific name ending “they” in recognition of gender diversity.” The species is sexual and not non-binary, but the scientists are trying to be woke.

The miniature trap-jaw ant, termed Strumigenys ayersthey, is thought to be the only creature in the world to have the non-binary suffix. There are hundreds of other ants named in honor of people, but they end with -ae when named after females and -i after males.

What a bunch of jackasses. This is exactly what woke parents do when they abuse their impressionable children into gender dysphoria.

I can’t wait til this disease of social justice spreads to electrical engineering.
