Twitter complains about Uganda blocking them after they blocked Trump

After Twitter censored news harmful to Biden before the election and recently kicked President Trump off the platform he had primarily relied on to communicate to the world, the social media giant is complaining after being blocked in the country of Uganda.

Uganda President Yoweri Museveni took the unprecedented step of banning Facebook and Twitter from the country after claims surfaced that Facebook and Twitter have been meddling in the country’s internal elections.

Twitter posted this response: “We strongly condemn internet shutdowns—they are hugely harmful, violate basic human rights and the principles of the #OpenInternet”

I guess they can shut down parts of the Internet, but when it happens to them, it’s not okay.

What a joke.
